More than a powerful configuration utility - XPlite and 2000lite give you amazing control to repair Windows as well. If a particular technology gives you trouble you can completely remove it, and then reinstall it as cleanly as the day Windows was first installed on your computer.

The sheer number of Windows Update security fixes that are released on an almost daily basis testify to this fact. - A Smaller Footprint Windows:
The latest developments in XPLite now see clean installations of Windows XP in under 350MB and Windows 2000 approaching less than 200 MB (excluding paging file) with much smaller memory requirements! These sizes are obtained simply by running XPLite/2000Lite on a fresh install of windows. Enterprising developers should easily be able to strip out additional log files, INF files and unused drivers to reduce the footprint by another 50MB or so. If your goal is to run a dedicated task in as little storage as possible - then look no further than XPlite.
If your needs are for a smaller OS, then ask yourself if you really need Windows XP or Windows 2000. We can fit a Windows 9x OS into a 16MB flash chip and most solutions fit readily onto a 32MB chip. Check out Embedded Windows 9x.

Rescue Tools on a Boot CD for WinXP and Win2000
- Fix Windows Crashes:
XP Recovery CD has several tools to help you recover from a Windows XP or Windows 2000 crash.
- Start Windows with XP Recovery CD:
If Windows will not start, put the XP Recovery CD in the CD drive and start your computer. The XP Recovery CD has the Bart's PE version of Windows on it which will allow you to access your drives and fix problems.
- Crash Troubleshooter:
This easy-to-use troubleshooter steps you through the process of diagnosing what caused the crash and how to fix it.
- WinXP Restore Points:
This tool finds registry backups in WinXP's Restore Points and lets you choose which one to recover. Only the registry is restored from the Restore Point. Disabled in the Trial version.
- WinRescue's Crash Fixer:
WinRescue's popular Crash Fixer is duplicated in XP Recovery CD to make recovering from a crash with WinRescue Backups easy. Please note that WinRescue Backups are not included (you must already have a WinRescue backup to restore from). Disabled in the Trial version.
- Drive Explorer:
This Windows Explorer look-a-like makes it easy for you to find, copy, rename, move, and delete files and folders.
- Unzipper and Extractor:
This tool extracts files from zip files and WinRescue Backups. Disabled in the Trial version.
- The Maker:
XP Recovery CD is a plugin which is built on BartPE CD. Bart's PE CD is free and must be used with XP Recovery CD. Our setup program, XP Recovery CD Maker, will guide you through the process of downloading BartPE CD and using it to make an XP Recovery CD.
- Be Ready for the Next Windows Crash:
WinXP and Win2000 crashes are becoming more and more common. They come without warning. Be ready with XP Recovery CD.
- Runs in all Windows XP and 2000 versions:
Though specially formulated to have the maximum benefit in WinXP, it will also work in Win2000. Win2000 does not have Restore Points and so XP Recovery CD does not find Restore Points to recover in Win2000, but WinRescue 2000 backups can still be restored.

PowerPacker will help a user create a Multiboot Windows XP disk with or without DriverPacks. It will do almost everything for you, even hex edit the files needed to be hexed, create the boot directory, boot menu, etc. It makes creating multiboot XP disks a breeze.
Latest Changes:
- Fixed issue with Extra Root Files and Extra Pack Files not keeping the settings correctly in the ini file
- Because of the settings not being saved to the ini file correctly the Extra Pack Files and Extra Root files were not being copied over to the destination
- The Tri-Pack and the Custom Name Pack checkboxes were not functioning correctly when first opening the gui

06- XPCREATE CD Creator
XPCREATE is a utility program that will combine an original XP distribution and assorted hotfixes and updates to produce an up-to-date XP Distibution CD. XPCREATE allows the user to define custon installations and setup programs, but it's main richness lies in the slipstreaming of most available updates and hotfixes, thus insuring the integrity of both the initial installation, and the physical CD media. Slipstreaming the latest hotfixes and updates is important in avoiding possible vulnurability attacks during the setup phase, and in avoiding the need to re-apply hotfixes after a windows component is added or removed.
When run, XPCREATE connects to an Internet server to obtain a list of hotfixes that must be downloaded for your Windows version. This list will be used to determine which files must be downloaded from the Internet, and which files are already present locally.
The main goals of XPCREATE are:
- Provide an automated procedure to produce a Windows XP Distribution that, once installed, will require zero updates, either critical or recommended, as shown on the Windows Update Site.
- Integrate the service packs, hotfixes and updates as completly as possible into the Windows XP Distribution.
- Perform the above two tasks with a minimum of user intervention or file manipulation in order to make Updated XP CD Distributions available to all XP users, regardless of level of expertise.
